Weight loss services are becoming increasingly popular in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) region. With an increasing number of people struggling with obesity, weight loss programs have become an important tool for people to achieve their desired weight goals. However, with so many different services on the market, it can be difficult to decide which one will be the most beneficial.
This paper aims to investigate the typical weight loss results from weight loss programs in the UAE. To do so, a systematic review of the literature was carried out to locate studies that evaluated the effectiveness of weight loss programs in the UAE. The search resulted in a total of 11 studies that fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The studies were analyzed to determine the types of weight loss techniques used and the average weight loss results achieved. .
The most common form of weight loss in the UAE was a blend of diet modification and physical fitness, according to the findings of this study. The average weight loss results from these programs were modest, with an average of about two kilograms per six months. In addition, the findings showed that the majority of participants were able to maintain their weight loss for at least a year after completing the program. .
Overall, this systematic review has provided an overview of the typical weight loss outcomes achieved by weight loss programs in the UAE. According to these results, weight loss programs can be effective in assisting individuals in achieving modest weight loss targets.
